I am overjoyed to announce that my debut picture book, Yumi and Monster, is releasing September 2, 2025, and is now open for preorders!!

Yumi and Monster is inspired by disability advocate, artist, writer, designer and Asian American adoptee Kam Redlawsk’s own experience living with a rare degenerative muscle-wasting disease that has been gradually making her immobile. I can’t express what it means to share a piece of my heart. I’m grateful to my team, composed entirely of women, from my literary manager, Lily, to my New York team. Closer to my release date, I’ll be sharing lots of book musings, my process, and team, and more. For now, I will enjoy this moment.
