I get around. ♿️✈️ Here’s my annual travel compilation (4 minutes) of some of the moments and things we saw and did in 2022. (Remember, these are just highlights, not all the lights obscured by shadow and monotony)
For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice. - T.S. Eliot
2022 was a lot of traveling and firsts, like first time modeling professionally, TV consulting, my art as murals representing #raredisease community, getting an agent for Monster and Me & finally meeting the beautiful human, @selmablair after following each other for a couple years.
I began making these annual end of the year videos of my travels in 2012. They’re great to share with followers, but I really began making them as something to look back on.
As someone with a progressive debilitating disease, I know too well things don’t last forever, and there will be a time when I can’t do most or all these things, so I don’t take explorations for granted.
I share my travels and explorations because I know what they’ve done for me in light and dark times. Looking toward something and remembering there’s more, there’s always more, helps me through the difficult times, and I want to extend that sense of curiosity in you. (Curiosity doesn’t have to be world travels, it could be local and even your own backyard.)
It’s been awhile since I haven’t dreaded the start of a new year-feeling unprepared, pressure or lack of motivation-but I’ve been excited with a lot of focus, projects and ideas coming into fruition. Stay tuned!
Thank you for supporting and following my advocacy in 2022! I’m looking forward to sharing more travel adventures, thoughts and passions in 2023. Happy New Year! ❤️🌟#KamsWheelsTravel #Kamdraws
